GCFPC WEEKLY UPDATE
Game 9 – Dickinson College
The Bullets stay at home for Senior Day and their last home game of the season this Saturday to try to reclaim the “The Little Brown Bucket” that has gone to the winner of the Dickinson/Gettysburg game for several decades in this rivalry. Following a thrilling victory – and a defensive marvel of a game on Family Weekend last Saturday – the team looks to stay in the hunt for a share of the Centennial Conference Championship.
TAILGATE: The Freshman (“First Year”) parents will provide the potluck food for this week’s Tailgate to complement the Parents’ Club’s offerings. Thank you to Karen and George Lessler for organizing the First Year parents on this.
This Saturday promises great weather, and upperclass parents plan post-game tailgate going late into the evening . . . utilizing the Pavilion’s fireplace.
THE MUHLENBURG GAME: Congratulations to Mike Schmidt for being named as the Centennial Conference’s Defensive Player of the Week. This has to be a record year for “Player of the Week” accolades to the Bullets.
SENIOR DINNER: Plans for the Senior Dinner are in the works. The Dinner will be on Saturday, December 3rd. Everyone is encouraged to attend. Details to follow soon.
ACTION PHOTOS: Bill Dowling has been providing us a great service (at reasonable rates) in photographing our players/cheerleaders (Varsity and J.V.), Please visit his website at to consider your photo purchases.
Go Bullets!!!!!!!!!!!!!
