Centennial Conference Weekly Awards

Congratulations to Tom Sturges who was named Centennial Conference Co-Offensive Player of the week for his performance against Lebanon Valley!

Co-Offensive Players of the Week
Tom Sturges, Gettysburg(Sr., RB, Ridgefield, CT / Ridgefield HS)

Marc Braxmeier, Moravian(Jr., QB, Center Valley, PA / Allentown Central Catholic HS)

Sturges carried 34 times for a career-high 220 yards and three TDs while also catching a scoring pass in the Bullets' 49-25 win vs. Lebanon Valley. He had 262 all-purpose yards on the day.

Braxmeier tied a school record with four touchdown passes and also added another on the ground as the 'Hounds defeated Susquehanna, 34-27. He completed 12 of 19 passes for 215 yards.

Defensive Player of the Week
Dustin Good, Muhlenberg(Sr., LB, Pottstown, PA / Pottsgrove HS) - Good had a career-high 11 tackles and two sacks as Muhlenberg blanked The College of New Jersey, 15-0. The Mule defense held the Lions to minus-32 yards rushing and 91 total yards, while not allowing a third-down conversion in 13 tries.

Special Teams Player of the Week
Alex Lachman, Johns Hopkins(Fr., PK, Livingston, NJ / Livingston HS) - Lachman booted a 43-yard field goal and was 2-for-2 on extra points, including the game-winner with 1:34 remaining, as the Blue Jays edged Hampden-Sydney, 17-16. The 43-yarder was the longest by a JHU freshman in at least 17 years.
